About the Artist

Pieter Lessing is a multidisciplinary South African artist based in Bloemfontein, with a creative career spanning over 40 years. Beginning with clay sculpture, he later found a distinctive voice in free-form painting, drawing from contemporary African aesthetic traditions. His work has been exhibited widely in South Africa and internationally. Beyond painting and sculpture, Pieter has contributed to furniture design, interior décor, and commissioned artworks across home décor, hotel, and hospitality spaces.
